Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA) and delivered through its network; our server region is Frankfurt am Main. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept only briefly (currently one day at most); we don't analyse them.
Vercel processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR), and data may also be transferred to the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and also on standard contractual clauses. Cookies and fonts
We only set one technically necessary cookie (“lang”) that remembers your language. If you close the notice that the site is still being built, your browser remembers that until you close the tab (session storage). No tracking, no ads. All fonts are served by the site itself; nothing is sent to Google Fonts.
YouTube
Video thumbnails are served by the site itself, so your browser doesn't contact YouTube. Only when you click “Play video” does the YouTube player (Google Ireland Limited) load in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which sends your IP address and device data to Google, possibly also to the USA. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
